Our M1 Workstation Program Series is a professionally programmed custom voice library for the Korg M1 and M1R Music Workstations. Each M1/M1R soundbank includes 100 Programs, 100 Combinations and 200 Effects Programs, all carefully designed from scratch.

This premium soundware is designed to work in conjunction with the M1/M1R’s internal PCM data.

1)  M101 - New World Collection

“New World Collection” is a bank of Eastern and Western influenced textures and themes that range from Asian Kotos to Australian Fairlight™ emulations. Staple sounds such as strings, pianos and basses are also included in this internationally flavored collection.

2)  M102 - Film Textures

“Film Textures” is a bank of motion picture soundtrack-type themes and textures which include sounds based on Action-Adventure films, Sci-Fi odysseys, and other popular genres. It also includes musical and non-musical sound effects which work well for post-production effects and sweetening.

3)  M103 - Synthesizer Collection

“Synthesizer Collection” is a complete set of early classic synths (Chroma, Oberheim, Roland Juno, Korg Poly 800, etc.) and new modern synth emulations (Roland D-50, Fairlight™, Kawai K4, etc.). Basses, Pads, Solo instruments, splits, multi-layers and sound effects are also included in this collection.  There are 100 Single Patches and 100 Combinations including “D50 Ocean,” “Jupiter 8,” “2Juno 60’s,” “The Abyss,” “Silver Moon,” “Mentor,” “UFO 1” and many more.

4)  M104 - New Age Collection

“New Age Collection” is a complete library of sounds suitable for new age music styles. Basses, Pads, Solo instruments, splits, multi-layers and sound effects are also included in this collection.

“Pop/Rock Collection” is a complete library of sounds suitable for Top 40 and original music styles. Basses, Pads, Solo instruments, splits, multi-layers and sound effects are also included in this collection.

6)  M106 - MASTERAM 100 Collection

“MASTERAM 100 Collection” is a highly inventive collection of sounds suitable for pop, rock, Top 40, and experimental electronic music. Analog and digital-type sounds are also included. Sounds include “Prophet 5,” “DepechMode,” “Trio,” “DubleMetal,” “5 Noizes,” “Brash” and more!

7)  M107 - Modern Synthesis

“Classical Organs, Vol. 1” is a classic collection of historically accurate pipe organ sounds, including full organs, reeds, strings, flutes, foundations, percussion and “mixed” textures.

8)  M108 - Country / Acoustic Folk

A truly unique bank specially designed for electric and acoustic country, folk, and Cajun music! These are CD-quality sounds ranging from 6- and 12-stringed acoustic steel and nylon guitars (strummed, plucked, scraped and slapped), mandolins, lutes, dulcimers and autoharps to electric country strats and telecasters complete with twang and tremolos!   Percussion noises such as spoons and Joos harps are here, along with a generous assortment of electric and acoustic basses, violins and other stringed instruments, electric and acoustic pianos, organs, and some special effects such as deep swamps and bird cries—and no, we haven’t forgotten the accordion and the flute. For modern country music there is a new drum kit and even a brass section. This is one bank that’s been a long time a-comin!

9)  M109 - Pop / Rock Collection, Vol. 2

The results are in - people are hanging on to their M1s, and they’re still looking for new M1 sounds! So we went “back to the drawing board” and came up with a whole new soundbank chock full of important basic timbres that everyone keeps asking for. Acoustic and electric grands, realistic electric pianos, electric and synth basses, horns, organs, strings, bells - the whole nine yards and then some!  Also included are “vector-type” atmospheric sounds like those found on Korg’s Wavestation, plus a whole slew of great guitar sounds. If you’re still rockin’ with your M1, then this bank is a must-have! These patches can be starkly beautiful, but definitely not comfortable, and definitely not familiar! WS02 - "Synthesizer Textures" is a collection of emulations of all of your favorite synths as only the Wavestation can create.

WS03 - "Vector Atmospheres" is a bizarre and disturbing soundbank that makes extensive use of the Wavestation’s Vector control animation feature. The textures are useful for all soundtrack-type applications, ranging from ethereal pads to dramatic effect washes and other special effects.
