1) K101 - Platinum Collection 

The Platinum Collection is a modern, contemporary assortment of 32 Multi and 64 Single patches. A wide range of textures in the style of the D-50 and sample-type sounds are included, as well as Top 40 staples such as strings, brass, and analog synth sounds.

Some timbres are warm and rich, some are light and airy, and others are uniquely new. These new K1 textures are mood-evoking, yet still retain musical value. Almost all of the sounds are programmed to have an “effected” ambience built into the patches, with chorusing, tremolo, reverb and delay effects—all without using external signal processing. Our programming techniques result in the most powerful and unique sounds ever heard from the K1. Sounds include “Anastasia,” “NightBrass,” “GitrString,” “PickedBass” and many more. 

2) K102 - Fantasy Collection 

The Fantasy Collection is an expressive array of modern “mood” type timbres and textures reminiscent of the Korg M1. These sounds are very well suited to film, new age and environmental styles.

Some timbres are warm and rich, some are light and airy, and others are uniquely new. These new K1 textures are mood-evoking, yet retain musical value. Almost all the sounds are programmed to have an “effected” ambience built into the patches, with chorusing, tremolo, reverb and delay effects, all without using external signal processing. Our programming techniques result in the most powerful and unique sounds ever heard from the K1. Sounds include “Harmaniac!,” “Ethnic Pan,” “Life Force,” “Ice Caves,” “AriesNight” and many more.

3) K103 - Pop/Rock Collection

“Pop/Rock” features an assortment of modern Top 40 type timbres and textures reminiscent of high-end samplers and synthesizers (à la S900/D-50). These sounds are very well suited to all styles of Pop and Rock music. You’ll find plenty of material for both stage & studio work. Our specialized programming techniques result in the most powerful and unique sounds ever heard from the K1.

4) K104 - MASTERAM Collection, Volume 1

This is Volume II of our K-1 MASTERAM 64 series of RAM/Voice ccollections for the Kawai K1 series of synths. It will work in the K1, K1M, K1R and K1II machines.

This collection contains 64 Single and 32 Multi patches. All of the Single patches will provide 8 note polyphony as they all utilize the four Sources to create the resultant timbre. The Multi patches provide a variety of Splits, Layers and Combinations that are intended as a “guide” as to how you might combine various Single patches to create different types of Multi set-ups.

We strongly urge you to read the section of your machine’s manual that describes the creation and storage of the Multis. It is only through the understanding of this procedure that you will be able to fully utilize the incredible sonic potential offered by your machine. It will be well worth the time and effort!

5) K105 - MASTERAM Collection, Volume 2

This is Volume II of our K-1 MASTER 64 series of RAM/Voice collections for the Kawai K1 series of synths. It will work in the K1, K1M, K1R and K1II machines.

This collection contains 64 Single and 32 Multi patches. All of the Single patches will provide 8 note polyphony as they all utilize the four Sources to create the resultant timbre.  The Multi patches provide a variety of Splits, Layers and Combinations that are intended as a “guide” to combine various Single patches to create different types of Multi set-ups. 6) K106 - Orchestral Collection
Orchestral Collection is a complete “orchestra-in-a-box” for your K1! Here you’ll find a comprehensive selection of strings, ranging from full orchestra sections to solo instruments such as violin, viola, cello and contrabass.

Also included are solo and ensemble brass, woodwinds, percussion and 8 different acoustic piano simulations.

There are even “mini-symphony” patches that sound like sound bites from classical CD’s.

64 single patches include “Stra-vinsky,” “Pizz,” “Big Wash,” “Choir 1,” “Tenor Sax,” “Horn” and “Fantasy. 32 multi patches include “Concerto,” “Christmas,” “Big Orch” and “GrndFinale.” This is truly a must-have bank for all of your symphonic projects!

2) K402 - D50 Impressions 

Modeled after the D-50’s factory and other patches, this set pro-vides an extremely realistic D-50 experience for the K4 owner. Our programming techniques, including additive and amplitude modulation, result in the most powerful and unique sounds ever heard from the K4.

3) K403 - MasterRAM Collection, Volume 1

SINGLE PATCHES
This collection contains 64 “Single” patches. These are the most important group of patches in  the collection; it is with these single patches that you create the various types of “Multi” patches in the Multi section. These are the basic “building block” sounds and are designed to be complete and often complex sounds by themselves as you set up your K4 for multi-timbral sequence operation, so we have spent a great deal of time to refine these patches into individualistic timbres. The single patches will yield either eight- or sixteen- note polyphony depending on whether two or all four sources have been used to construct the sound. A sound created with two sources will yield sixteen-note polyphony.

MULTI PATCHES
This collection also contains 64 “Multi” patches that were created from the 64 single patches. The Multis will vary in type and include different types of splits, layers and velocity crossfades, many with both in a single patch. Try hitting the keyboard with varying velocity to see if the response changes. Although we have created these Multis, we strongly suggest that you read the section of the K4 manual that describes the creation of Multi patches. It is impossible for us to predict your personal musical needs and understanding this process will enable you to create Multi patches that are exactly suited to your needs. This will allow you to obtain the full musical power that is offered by this powerful multi-timbral instrument.

4) K404 - MasterRAM Collection, Volume 2

This collection contains 64 “Single” patches. These are the most important group of patches in the collection; it is with these single patches that you create the various types of Multi patches in the Multi section. These are the basic building block sounds and are designed to be complete and often complex sounds by themselves as you set up your K4 for multi-timbral sequence operation, so we have spent a great deal of time to refine these patches into individualistic timbres. The single patches will yield either eight- or sixteen-note polyphony depending on whether two or all four sources have been used to construct the sound.  This collection also contains 64 Multi patches that were created from the 64 single patches. 5) K405 - Stage and Studio 

“Stage & Studio” is a collection of contemporary workhorse sounds designed to put an array of high quality patches at the fingertips of the working musician. Basses, organs, pianos, leads, pads and keyboard comping voices are included. There are also plenty of modern textures to satisfy alternative tastes. This is a wide-ranging bank that will give you the most out of your K4 in situations that demand flexibility and creativity.

6) K406 - Pop / R&B

Load this bank of sounds into your K4 and get ready for some serious jammin’! We’ve gone to extra lengths to provide the most requested sounds here. From electric grand and Rhodes pianos to slammin’ sampled rhythm loops and plenty in between! Punchy, sizzling brass, “Fairlight” type string patches, workhorse electric guitar sounds, synth and electric basses, even “vector synth” type sounds and, of course, analog synth favorites—you’ll find it all in this soundbank. Included are 32 new effects patches, 64 single patches and 64 useful multi-patches, all carefully crafted to take full advantage of the K4’s sonic capabilities. 7) K407 - Radical Film Textures
Want to use your K4 to breathe some extra life into your latest film or television score? Or maybe you’re an outlaw cyberpunk looking to wreak musical havoc and blow some backward minds? This soundbank just might contain those “sonic seasonings” you crave!
Here you’ll encounter everything from wild “vector-synth”-type, evolving patches, to shimmering ethereal soundscapes, to pulverizing metallic timbres, outer space effects and more. Single patches include “Kill Piano,” ”Timesteps,” “Evolvo,” “Bedsprings,” “In The Hall,” “Planet Q” and “Vulcan.” Multi-patches include sounds such as “Everglades,” “Heavy 5ths,” “Moonbeams,” “SynergyPad” and “Ironworks.

Each XD-5 bank contain 64 new single patches & 16 new Drum Kits.

All the drum kits are laid out in a logical manner, starting with kick drum at C1, snares at D1 and E1, hi-hats at F#1, G#1, A#1, etc. Most of the kits include two octaves of bass sounds. Since the XD-5 does not respond to pitch bend or aftertouch, controller information has not been provided. All the drum kits are set up in a stereo field, left to right.

1) XD501 - R & B / Pop 

R&B/Pop contains 80 crystal clear, extremely usable drum sounds needed and wanted by today’s working drummers, keyboard players and producers. Everything from “in your face” rock kits to jazz, latin, rap and pop set-ups are provided. The sounds themselves have that extra amount of “crisp high end,” to cut through the hottest mixes.

2) XD502 - Rock / FX 

Rock/FX contains 80 no-nonsense, highly usable drum sounds for the musician who requires solid, quality rock effects. These are the hard-edged, “meat-and-potato” patches that you couldn’t find in the XD-5’s presets. We also included numerous experimental textures for those with alternative urges. They include TV/film score and other “effect”-type sounds.
